Agreka Build Secures Innovate UK Smart Grant!

Agreka Build is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded an Innovate UK Smart Grant, a significant milestone that underscores our commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Innovate UK is dedicated to driving productivity and economic growth by supporting businesses in developing and realizing the potential of new ideas. The agency funds business and research collaborations to accelerate innovation and encourage investment in research and development (R&D).

In this latest round of Smart Grants, which concluded in July 2024, only 46 projects were selected from 1,645 submitted applications. Our project received an outstanding score of 91.7% and was recognised for its innovative approach and significant environmental impact, utilising waste to create a fully sustainable and scalable insulation product.

We are also pleased to announce that we have secured the necessary match funding to close our pre-seed round. With these investments, alongside government funding, we will be able to expedite our R&D efforts, establish our manufacturing capabilities to meet industry standards and certifications, and build a strong and capable team to commercialise our product by the end of 2025.
